The Nutr Machine works perfectly without soaking nuts or seeds
overnight. The blade and motor inside are very powerful, so you can
enjoy rich nut milk without any hassle. However, if you do want to
pre-soak your nuts for creamier and frothier milk, Nutr machine does
have a timed delay start/pre-soak function, to add your nuts up to 18
hours before you blend! It’s all based on preference.
Yes, soy milk must be heated to 212 degrees Fahrenheit to be safely consumed. The Nutr Machine’s hot setting is enabled for this purpose! It is the only base ingredient that must be heated to this temperature for safe consumption
The machine is not dishwasher safe, however, the Nutr Machine has a convenient self-cleaning feature. Simply add water and a drop of dish soap to the machine, select the self-clean setting, and let it run. It will clean itself, saving you time and effort. After the cycle is complete, just rinse the parts with water and dry them thoroughly before reassembling.
Yes! Warm nut milk is a delicious treat on a chilly day, and can be used for any nut milk blend. Also great to use for warm beverages, like coffee or tea!
Milk made from the Nutr Machine typically lasts about 3 to 5 days in the
refrigerator when stored in an airtight container. Just like other
homemade nut milks, it may naturally separate over time, so be sure to
shake it before each use. Always check for freshness by smelling or
tasting it to ensure it hasn't spoiled.
Nope. You may use old fashioned or quick oats. We recommend using cold water since hot water may make the oat milk have a slimy consistency.

There is a small amount of pulp after each blend, you can choose to drink the pulp (very nutritious!) or without. You can even use and repurpose the pulp for additional recipes. If you choose to filter out the pulp, we have provided an external strainer in the kit along with the Nutr Machine, so you can use it with any cup to enjoy pulp-free plant milk!
Yes, you can! We have a variety of fun beverage and smoothie recipes available on our Recipe page for inspiration. Get creative with hot and cold recipes, and with the water boil feature - this can be used as an alternative to an electric tea kettle!
It really can be. Many plant-based milks can simply be those 2 ingredients, however we often add a touch of salt, or a natural sugar source like dates or vanilla to give it subtle flavor. We encourage Nutr users to get creative and report back with perfected recipes!
The recommendation is to use baking soda, dish soap with vinegar, and scrub the inside of the machine /strainer.

Nutr Blends are a proprietary formulation developed in-house by Nutr, alongside a team of certified nutritionists. Ingredients have been carefully sourced and selected, with our blends formulated and produced here in the U.S.
While our blends are functional in nature with key superfood ingredients, Nutr products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Generally, our ingredients are made from whole foods, in powdered form. There are no additives, preservatives, or processed sugars added. All Blends are USDA Certified Organic, meet CCOF (organic certifier) certification requirements, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and lactose-free. We do have a proprietary “Nutr vitamin and mineral blend” incorporated into each flavor that meets the above qualities and makes up less than 4% per serving, by weight.
All cardboard components are recyclable and the base pouches (nuts, oats, etc) are 100% post-consumer recycled and fully recyclable. The stick packs are not currently recyclable.
No, Nutr Bases and Blends do not need to be refrigerated. The Bases have a shelf life of 18 months and the Blends have a shelf life of 2 years. The exact Best By dates can be found printed on each individual pouch and stick pack.
Yes, Nutr Blends can be used on any of the heat & blend settings – room temp, warm and hot. We recommend most recipes be used on room temp and warm, and the hot setting be reserved for creating soy and rice based milk recipes.
